We talked a lot about going away for Christmas this year like we did last year. A short trip and then a small celebration at home, the perfect holiday with teenagers. Sometime during these discussions I realized that this would be Dagny's last Christmas as a child. (!) Last childhood Christmas not spent at home? I don't think so. We went full steam ahead with all our traditions and had a good old-fashioned family Christmas. (just like the Griswold's) We celebrated Christmas Eve with Grandpa and Sue, Chinese food, presents, and lots of picture taking. We got up late the next morning and made crepes before opening the rest of the presents. Then we spent the day in our pajamas and played games and watched old family movies. I'm thinking that as far as last childhood Christmases go, this was a pretty good one. Merry Christmas!
