Remember that injured ankle Dane had during football camp? Turns out is wasn't his ankle at all, the problem is his heels. Dane has Sever's Disease. (it sounds way more threatening than it actually is) His situation is serious enough that he won't be playing football this season.
The Dr. recommended at least 2 months of rest, and since football practice starts today, there's no way he can play. Injuries are a reality of sports, it's disappointing, but you just have to deal.
Dane suddenly has a whole lot a free time this fall.
I am so sorry that he will not be able to play this season, but grateful that all is well. You say he has too much time on his hands? I have the perfect solution, send him here later in the fall for another get together with Kendrick. They would have a blast! Although Kendrick is saving to fly up there to visit, it will not be until next year. In the meantime...

I'm so sorry to hear that. It doesn't sound so fun! But hey, I was reading my mom's comment...and she's right...the boys would have a great time together. And I know it would take up a bit of Kendrick's free time as well!!! ;)
